The Archos Gmini 402

The Archos Gmini 402 is a “multimedia do it all”! The Gmini comes with a build in video camera capable of recording different resolutions of video imagery. In the lowest resolution the 20Gb storage capability is good for approximately 20 hours of footage.

The Gmini has a 2.2 inch color LCD screen that is okay for watching video and pictures. The integrated USB 2.0 port let you move pictures, video files mp3 or any other files between the multimedia device and the computer.

You can connect the player to a television to view your video and your pictures on a bigger screen.

All this functionality doesn’t add to the size of the player. It’s a very small, sleek looking device. In order to support future audio and video formats Archos will regularly post firmware updates on their website.

The price of the Archos Gmini will be somewhere in the order of $400.
