Improve Your TV Enjoyment with Wireless TV Speakers

The problem with most TV's is the poor quality speakers which are installed in the TV cabinet. TV speakers have to be small to eliminate magnetic interference which can distort the image on the TV screen. Small speakers mean small sound, and the only way to get better sound while watching TV is to install satellite speakers. They are available as traditional wired speakers or you can get wireless TV speakers.

Wired TV speakers are OK, but you are limited when it comes to placement. Wireless TV speakers give the freedom to place them anywhere you want - even in another room. Most models use 900MHz wireless technology that can transmit signals up to 300 feet away - even through ceilings and walls.

It doesn't make sense, though, to place wireless TV speakers were you can’t see the TV, but wireless speakers give you the freedom to place them in any convenient location in the TV room. For the best sound, the speakers should be placed at ear level and separated the same distance that you sit from the TV. For example, if you sit 10 feet away from the TV set, the ideal stereo placement for your wireless TV speakers is 10 feet apart.

There are many manufacturers of wireless TV speakers. They are quite reasonably priced - usually at under $200. They offer a cheap and convenient way to drastically improve the sound of your TV set.

There is a transmitter unit which is connected to your TV set. The transmitter sends the audio signal to the wireless TV speakers, which have an internal amplifier to provide the sound. Many models have individual controls for adjusting volume and bass, and there is usually a channel switch for selecting the best audio sound.

The speakers themselves need a power source of some kind. They can be plugged into an electrical outlet or powered by rechargeable batteries. When the batteries run low, simply plug the speaker into an outlet and they will be automatically recharged.
